Sooraj Pancholi as Sooraj. Sooraj is the leading man in the remake where he will essay the same role as that of Jackie Shroff in the original film. The leading hero (Sooraj Pancholi) is a best man of a popular goon who is arrested by the police. The goon asks the hero to warn the Chief of Police Shrikanth Mathur (Tigmanshu Dhulia). Sooraj not only warns Mathur, but also kidnaps his daughter Radha (Athiya Shetty). The heroine falls for the hero who himself is a goon.

However, he hides this fact, and the two fall in love. She then realizes the reality and asks him to surrender. He surrenders after which he is imprisoned for 2 years, and returns as an improved man. However, Radha’s family disapproves him. Meanwhile, Radha is forced to marry another man Jimmy. This man initially appears good but later people realize that he is a smuggler.

On the other hand, the villain returns from jail and kidnaps the Mathur family. However, the hero rescues them all, giving us a happy ending.

The basic story will remain the same, however the script has been contemporized as per today’s taste. It has been co- written by Nikhil Advani and Umesh Bisht. The Soundtrack – Will It Create the Same Magic? The original film’s music was phenomenal, then whether it was the flute instrumental, the song Ding Dong or the romantic number – Tu Mera Hero Hai, it is still fresh in our minds.
