These New Promo Shots From the Blade Runner Sequel Look Terrifyingly Real. The new Blade Runner movie is a terrifying glimpse of the near future. Titled Blade Runner 2. October 6th, but these new promotional shots look absolutely terrifying. In fact, the dystopian vision of the future that these images present looks all too real. The original Blade Runner had everything from enormous video screens to burning oil fields to serve as a helpful reminder of the fact that the movie was taking place in an advanced technological dystopia.
